Description

The 2014 Red Etude is a blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot and 21% Syrah. These three varietals are known for producing full-bodied, tannic styles of wine. Cabernet lends its structure and body, as well as classic varietal characters of green pepper and blackcurrant. Merlot adds a round, juicy mouthfeel, with Syrah gives the wine spicy, fruity overtones. This vintage is a bold, elegantly concentrated, rich blend with a fine, supple structure.  The flavor profile includes blackberry, black cherry, smoke, and pepper. Vibrant flavors, perfectly structured tannins and balanced acidity define this wine.
