It is crafted from grapes grown in the Walla Walla Valley. The grapes were destemmed, pressed and then fermented in stainless steel tanks for 25 days. The wine was then aged for 23 months in both new and 1 year old French oak barrels. It is intensely purple and delivers an aromatic array of cedar, tobacco, lavender, mineral, and black cherry. Round, ripe, and rich on the palate, it has excellent depth, volume, and balance. The oak aging brings out the tobacco and spice making this a perfect wine for your holiday dinners.
